Final Checklist

Questions and technical help for the Penn State Trading Strategy Competition

  • Be sure to have registered by 8:00 pm EST, Tuesday, February 24.
  • Choose a security to trade for the duration of the competition for Part I, and submit the strategy as a Tradestation (.tsw) file, following the steps from the previous "strategy building & submission" pages. Due by 11:59 pm EST, Tuesday, February 24.
  • For Part II, submit a strategy to the drop box each week no later than 11:59 pm on the Sunday (EST) prior to the strategy’s trading period. 
    • USO (Crude Oil ETF) – Second week (3/01)
    • USDJPY (USD/JPY Currency) – Third Week (3/08)
    • QQQQ (Nasdaq 100 ETF) – Fourth Week (3/15)
  • Submit strategies anytime prior to the deadline.  If you decide to alter a submitted strategy, you may do so by submitting the updated strategy before the dealine using the same file name.
